Our safety record speaks for itself – our MOD Factor is one of the lowest in PA for excavators of our size, our OSHA Incidence and DART Rates are comparable to or below National Industry average, and we have a proven and exceptional OSHA Inspection Record. Our foremen have completed OSHA-30 training and most of our field personnel have completed OSHA-10 training. We also have a PA-Certified Safety Committee.

Our teams of skilled professionals utilize a fleet of backhoes, loaders, dozers, and trucks that are the latest models, and are maintained by our experienced in-house mechanics. Our Shop serves as an inspection station and is open to the public. This combination of experienced professionals and a dedicated service crew enable us to handle complex site work, excavation, grading and paving, and utilities jobs. Furthermore, we can control our client’s projects from beginning to end, which allows us to handle tight schedules.

We have a team of highly skilled foremen, project managers, superintendents, truck drivers, surveyors, diesel mechanics and equipment operators on our staff. These professionals embrace challenging and complex projects every day, and ensure that each project is done right the first time. Gutelius Excavating’s size also enables us to handle large projects, which many smaller operations cannot.
